Puppy Playdates

It's raining hard outside today and the sky is dark and gloomy. Despite the weather, I've found myself in good spirits because it's finally Saturday, my weekend.

Rilo had her first puppy playdate last night with my good friend Nate and his fabulous Alaskan Elkhound, Leonardo. As soon as we woke up this morning, Alex and I talked about how the next dog we get has to be a big and furry! Rilo was ecstatic the entire time, she loves playing with other dogs and as soon as they left she went right upstairs, climbed into our bed and fell asleep. Absolutely adorable. So adorable, in fact, that we've planned another little date for tonight. Tomorrow, Alex and I plan to play cards with a few friends in the afternoon and then see A Christmas Carol in IMAX 3D. I'm so excited! Monday will likely be another day packed with errands, specifically cleaning and puppy-proofing the house a bit better. We've been slacking!
